Jitendra Soni and Namitha Mathews have joined Argus Partners as partners in the Delhi office in the following practice areas:

Jitendra Soni is a technology and transaction lawyer based in New Delhi.

As part of his technology practice, he regularly advises clients on all areas of traditional and emerging technologies, both in an advisory capacity and in broader transactions. He also has extensive experience in the field of data protection. His transactions practice includes representing startups, growth companies and investors on all corporate transactions, including private equity, venture capital, acquisitions and joint ventures, with a focus on particularly on sectors that are at the intersection of technology.

Before joining Argus Partners, he worked with law firms such as DSK Legal, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and AZB & Partners. He is an alumnus of the Faculty of Law, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar and a member of the Delhi Bar.

Namitha Mathews has over 15 years of litigation, dispute resolution and business advisory experience in all jurisdictions. His main areas of interest are civil law, corporate law, private real estate law, alternative dispute resolution systems, real estate, infrastructure, property law, education and white collar work. She has developed, over the years, a comprehensive practice on the litigation side by being actively involved in all aspects of litigation, from the trial stage to the appeal stage.

Namitha has also honed a strong practice on the corporate and advisory side and works primarily in the areas of corporate governance, private equity, real estate and infrastructure project implementation, financing and acquisitions. , fintech and the digital payment space. Exposure to both business and litigation practice has given him an added edge to appreciate not only the nuances of negotiating, structuring and drafting documents for complex transactions, but also the ability to identify and guard against a possible transactional vulnerability that would expose customers to potential disputes.

Namitha completed her Law in 2006 from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Maharashtra and is admitted to the Delhi Bar.

Prior to joining Argus Partner, Namitha worked at Algo Legal leading the litigation practice. She was, before joining Algo Legal in 2020, the founding partner of Samvid Legal. She has also worked with UCOL, Advocates and Consultants and SPLC, Advocates and Consultants.
