Job: UBA Foundation & Evaluation Officer at United Bank for Africa (UBA)

Objective(s) of the position

• Manage and promote the UBA Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Implement the execution of key UBA Foundation initiatives (Read Africa, National Essay Competition, etc.), including all required logistics and public relations.
• Work with individuals and organizations to ensure that all projects are executed within the approved budget and within the specified time frame.
• Oversee Foundation communications and program design, e.g. invitations, announcements, newspaper publications, etc.
• Liaise with government agencies and individuals on behalf of the Foundation.
• Manage UBA Foundation digital media platforms
• Create new initiatives in line with the Foundation’s mission.
• Manage all CSR related information for the website and all other publications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• CSR or related certification is an added advantage.
• 3-4 years of related experience.

Candidate profile:

• Our ideal candidate must have knowledge of CSR or sustainable development.
• Must have knowledge of impact assessment and smart accountability.
• Must be smart, enterprising, have a positive attitude and be a team player.

Knowledge and skills required:

• Have a basic knowledge of the support of the different operating systems used in the bank
• Familiarize yourself with all digital media platforms.
• Good understanding of endpoint security.
• Ability to develop and promote team spirit.
